The Torre del Picacho is a historic communications tower that was part of the optical telegraph network in Andalusia , Spain , in the mid-19th century .

The optical telegraph tower at number 45 in the southwestern Spanish municipality of Carmona connected Madrid, Toledo, Ciudad Real, Córdoba, Seville and Cádiz. The Línea de Andalucía was designed by the Brigadier (Ingeniero militar español) José María Mathé Aragua (1800–1875) and operated from 1851 to 1857.

In 1990 the tower was restored by the telephone company Telefónica and now serves as a lookout tower.
