Torson Ridge is a prominent and 189 m high mountain on Leskov Island in the archipelago of the South Sandwich Islands in the South Atlantic . It is the highest point on the island
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2013. It was named after the Russian naval officer Konstantin Petrowitsch Torson (≈1790–1852), participant in the first Russian Antarctic expedition (1819–1821) under the direction of Fabian Gottlieb von Bellingshausen .
