Torsten Haeffner
Torsten Haeffner (* 1960 in Munich ) is a Swiss writer. He writes novels, short stories and biographies.
Career
Haeffner grew up in a suburb of Munich. After completing his apprenticeship as a pastry chef, he learned the trade of journalism and from then on initially worked for German-language daily and weekly newspapers. From 1986 to 1994 he worked as a business editor, most recently for the Swiss business magazine Bilanz .
From 1994 onwards, Haeffner worked in various disciplines and positions for industrial and service companies and in consulting for more than fifteen years. In mid-2010 he quit this activity in order to focus on writing books.
