Touch and Go is a British pop-jazz - band from London , made especially for her hit Would You ...? is known.
Career
The band Touch and Go consists of the two interpreters Vanessa Lancaster (vocals) and James Lynch (trumpet). In addition, the producers David Lowe, Charlie Gillett and Gordon Nelki are involved.
In October 1998 the band released the hit single Would You ...? , which reached chart positions in numerous countries and came in at number 3 in the UK single charts . The song consists of a very characteristic sampling of a woman's voice, which makes the following statement:
"I've noticed you around / I find you very attractive / Would you go to bed with me?"
"I noticed you / I find you very attractive / Do you want to go to bed with me?"
This text corresponds to the text with which the participants in a study by Russell Clark and Elaine Hatfield in Tallahassee in 1978 examined differences in the willingness of men and women to respond to sexual offers.
The band had great success especially in Eastern Europe and Russia, where they also gave numerous concerts.
