Carrier frequency lock

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A device for blocking signals from carrier frequency systems is referred to as a carrier frequency lock .

Among other things, this can be necessary in high-voltage networks to prevent external transmitters from affecting your own power network and thus preventing your own network control from being disturbed by external telecontrol commands. In this case, carrier frequency barriers consist of an air-core coil , which is mostly suspended in the current loop of guy masts .

For end customers who operate carrier frequency systems, in this case so-called PLC modems for data transmission, in their house network, some electricity suppliers also prescribe the use of a carrier frequency block.
