Trades Union Congress of Ghana

The Trades Union Congress of Ghana (TUC) is a national association of 16 individual trade unions in Ghana . The TUC was founded in 1945 as the Gold Coast Trades Union Congress , and was the amalgamation of 14 registered trade unions. The chairman is Kwasi Adu-Amankwah, the seat of the association is Accra .

The TUCG is a member of the International Trade Union Confederation (ITUC). In the membership list of the IGB, membership is given as 275,000 (as of November 2017).
