The Trambulina Harghita is a category HS 76 (K 70) ski jumping hill in the Romanian town of Valea Strâmbă in the Harghita district , which is now out of service. With its construction point of 70 meters, the hill was formerly the second largest hill in Romania.
Competitions
The Romanian championship in ski jumping was held eight times on the Trambulina Harghita. The first Romanian championship was held in Valea Strâmbă in 1983 and the last championship in 2006.
In 1983 Lorincz Balint won the first Romanian championship on this 70 meter hill. Between 1996 and 1998 Florin Spulber won the Romanian championship three times on this hill. The 2001 Romanian championship was won by Mihai Pepene on the Trambulina Harghita. Two years later Csaba Magdo won the Romanian championship on the same hill. Two years later, Andrei Balazs was able to win the Romanian championship in ski jumping. Andrei Balazsch won the last Romanian ski jumping championship on this hill.
In 1996, 1997, 2001, 2003 and 2005 a team competition was held in addition to the men's individual jumping. The homeland club CS Dinamo Brașov won all of these jumping competitions .
