Transautomatism

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Transautomatism (Latin trans - about, auto- by itself) is a modern theory of painting developed by Friedensreich Hundertwasser , in which he formulates an overcoming of the automatism of the tachists and informals , the departure into the "true creation" after the end of tachism . Different people see different things in the same picture. The artist's intention is less the end result than how the viewer interprets it.
