Transsumpt
In a transsumpt (also: insert ) the content of an older document is included in a new document ("inserted") in order to confirm its legal validity again. In contrast to the Vidimus , the issuer of the new certificate takes legal responsibility for the content of the certificate.
The term comes from the Latin transsumere "to transfer, to take over". The term insert is derived from the Latin inserere "to insert, bring in".
