Dream collector
Dream Collector is the third novel by Khaled Hosseini . As in the two previous novels, The Kite Runner and A Thousand Shining Suns , the main actors, the siblings Pari and Abdullah, come from Afghanistan . The story takes place against the backdrop of Afghan history.
Pari and Abdullah are separated from each other in early childhood. Henceforth they grow up in completely different households and even parts of the world. After the heartbreaking breakup, new actors come into focus. Pari and Abdullah represent the center of a complex plot in Dream Collectors , which extends over more than 60 years.
The novel was published in English in 2013 and is called And the Mountains Echoed with the original English title . Henning Ahrens translated the novel into German.
