Triangle (Zimbabwe)

Triangle is a 429 m high place with about 2,000 inhabitants in the Masvingo Province in Zimbabwe ; located on the Mbizi - Chiredzi road and railway line .

Triangle is located in a hot and dry region. Continuous irrigation is necessary to enable agricultural cultivation. Triangle is the center of sugar cane cultivation . 1.2 million tons of sugar were produced once a year. It was cultivated by five large farms until the land was redistributed. Today several hundred small farmers cultivate areas of 10 hectares each. Other areas lie fallow. The yield decreased from 110 t / ha to 40 t / ha.

Triangle has two schools and four clinics.
