Tribophysics

The Tribophysik is, the research area in the structural changes of the surface of a solid body to be examined or close to the surface of the part after mechanical energy has been supplied. It is a branch of tribology .

Furthermore, the effects on the physical and chemical behavior of the surface or the area close to the surface are investigated (e.g. electrical charging ).
