The Tribunal Administrativo , abbreviated to TA , is the Mozambican Court of Auditors . It was founded in 2000, among other things after international pressure, in order to be able to fight corruption in the country more effectively. Today he has 450 employees. In 2003 it dealt with only 7 cases, in 2010 already 600. The Court of Auditors has received financial support from Germany , the Netherlands , Sweden and Finland since 2007 . The German participation is through the German society for international cooperationcarried out which have given 2.5 million euros for the construction since 2007. Machatine Paulo Marrengane Munguambe is the President of the Authority .

Legal Status

According to the Mozambican Constitution , the Tribunal Administrativo is the country's supreme audit authority and is authorized to review all financial, administrative and customs matters. He has the right to impose fines. Therefore, the Court of Auditors has similar rights to an administrative court .
