Trichinoscope

A trichinoscope (also trichinae projector ) is a projection microscope for the detection of trichinae , which is mainly used in the food industry for examining trichinae . The first magnification should be 50 times and the additional magnification to confirm a suspected case should be 80 times.

For the examination, the meat samples are artificially digested and the sediment is placed in a larval counting basin on a horizontal cross table in the device.
