The animated film era with Adelheid was a children's show on the Second German Television in the 1970s. Cartoons such as Mister Magoo had their German premiere as part of the program. Well-known films in the series were Mister Magoo, Mäusjagd und Katzenjammer , the C. Aubrey Smith parody Commander Mc. Bragg , Dudley Do-Right , duo with Frosch and Rocky & Bullwinkle . The short films were presented by the "beautiful Adelheid", a green kangaroo with a film projector, spoken by the actress Monika John .
The 88 episodes were broadcast weekly. The success of the show also resulted in two long-playing records of the same title in Germany.
