Trimmer (paraglider)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

In paragliders, the trimmer is used to change the incline of the canopy (canopy). A pulley system extends the C and D line levels. This reduces drag and lift of the paraglider and increases flight speed. In contrast to the conventional speed system, the trimmer setting does not have to be kept active. The system today is mainly used in tandem and paramotor used.

In addition to the function of increasing the speed, the trim system is used to compensate for the engine torque .
