Triodion of Kyustendil

The Triodion by Kyustendil is a manuscript from the 13th century from Bulgaria . It contains chants and prayers of a Triodion in the Old Church Slavonic language in Cyrillic script . There are 70 parchment sheets in the format 310-315 × 190 cm and 310-315 × 210-215 cm. These are described in two columns in 38 lines. The letters ъ and ь are spelled as, ь throughout. A chant is an acrostic , probably composed by Konstantin von Preslaw . The manuscript was found in Kyustendil in Bulgaria. 55 sheets are now in the Kyustendil Historical Museum, under the signature Cod. 401. 8 sheets in the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in Sofia , signature Cod. 39, 4 sheets in the University Library in Kraków . One sheet is in the National Library in Sofia, call number Cod. 575, one in the city library in Plovdiv , call number Cod. 59, and one in the Historical Institute in St. Petersburg , call number Cod. 687/3.
