Trix is a JavaScript based, free WYSIWYG - HTML editor . It is characterized by the fact that it does without the outdated execCommand API and works independently of the platform.
Working method
The HTML editor Trix is managed as an open source project on GitHub . Unlike most HTML editors, it does not just execute HTML code in the background, but is based on its own, sophisticated document model. Trix does without the outdated and error-prone execCommand API, which behaves differently depending on the browser version. This gives Trix complete control over what happens after every mouse click or key press. Trix also supports file attachments and images. Trix was developed by Sam Stephenson and Javan Makhmali. Trix does not inherently support tables.
