tradition

The “black Dakini of merciless compassion” has great significance in the tradition, based on Machig Labdrön .

It manifests itself from the Dharmata , the essence of emptiness ; the essence on which everything is based and is known as Sambhogakaya- Dakini.

Throma Nagmo is very powerful in protecting practitioners' vows and mental clarity, and is ruthless against all vow breakers and neuroses. It is regarded as the emanation of the Vajrayogini , but can also appear as an independent yidam .

presentation

Throma Nagmo is black (more rarely: dark blue) body color and has a face and two hands. She is powerful and protective and has a third wisdom eye on her forehead. She has an additional wild boar head.
