TrueMajority

TrueMajority is a liberal advocacy group based in the United States . In 2008, TrueMajority had over 700,000 members, making it, along with MoveOn , one of the two largest liberal lobby groups in the United States. TrueMajority, MoveOn and other certain conservative interest groups run email campaigns.

TrueMajority was founded by Ben Cohen , co-founder of Ben & Jerry’s .

TrueMajorityACTION is a separate but closely related organization that has a different status under US law. In September 2007, TrueMajorityACTION merged with USAction. TrueMajority was featured in The Colbert Report on March 5, 2007 when Ben and Jerry made a guest appearance.
