TruemanTV was the first long-term internet lifecasting project in which the life of Marcel Kotzur from Berlin could be followed live via video on the internet for 460 days, 24 hours a day. He could be influenced and communicated with via live chat. Marcel was always on the air with a notebook with a UMTS transmitter in his backpack and a webcam on his head. Marcel also gave up privacy at home. Whether at breakfast or while shaving, the audience was always there. The live project ran from September 13, 2007 to December 21, 2008. After that, it remained an online community for around two years, where the participants could slip into the role of Trueman themselves.

history

The original plan was to show a life live on the Internet for three months. But after a short time it became clear that it would be a long-term project.

After 111 days, TruemanTV recorded 11 hours and 11 minutes. Another video stream was added, and soon viewers could actively participate in the program themselves.

By January 14, 2009 trueman.tv had almost 19,000 users. On February 1st, 2009 TruemanTV became TruemanTV 2.0 , a community with the slogan "Stream your Life". Numerous functions have been added. TruemanTV is not just about life at the center of the site, it's a community with a focus on Internet Livecast. TruemanTV 2.0 could no longer reach the old audience numbers .
