Try 'n' B was a pop group founded in 1992 by Frank Farian , consisting of the singers Ray Horton and Kevin Weatherspoon and the singers Gina Mohammed and Tracy Ganser.

Career

None of the named group members sang on the first Milli-Vanilli album, but Gina Mohammed and Ray Horton were part of The Real Milli Vanilli and had vocal parts on the second album, The Moment of Truth .

The group's album was released internationally under the title Sexy Eyes . With the title song, a Dr. Hook - cover , the group had a chart success. Other singles were Tell Me Where It Hurts and Ding Dong .

Farian had decided against it to publish the second Milli-Vanilli album after the huge scandal in the USA as well under the band name The Real Milli Vanilli. Instead he formed 'Try' n 'B' in order to be able to publish the titles of the already finished album in the USA. The US version contained seven, the international version only three, slightly changed recordings.

It remained with one album of this project. Gina Mohammed subsequently sang on an album for the dance project Loft and later on her solo single Love Is All I See . Ray Horton released his solo album First Time in 1999 .
