Tuareg sword

Tuareg sword stands for:

  • Tuareg Mandingo sword , a sword with a straight, double-edged blade with a strong hollow ground
  • Tuareg short sword , a sword with a straight, double-edged blade. The blade is smooth, leaf-shaped, without a central ridge and without a hollow grind.
  • Takouba , a sword, with a straight, double-edged blade. The blade tapers slightly from the vessel to the tip. The hilt has short but wide quillons, which are usually wrapped in leather.
