Tucacas is a village in the state of Falcón , Venezuela, the administrative seat of the Municipios Silva . Part of the Morrocoy National Park is located here .

history

The Spanish conquistador Alonso de Ojeda reached this region with Vespucci and Juan de la Cosa on August 6, 1499. It became a favorite place for smugglers and pirates.
