The Tuhobić tunnel is named after the approximately 1106 m high Tuhobić mountain and is a motorway tunnel in Croatia . It is located about eight kilometers northeast of the coastal town of Kraljevica on the route of the A6 motorway (Zagreb – Rijeka). The first tube was put into operation in 1996, the second in 2008. The motorway is very busy with up to 11,000 vehicles driving through the tunnel every day. The length is 2,143 m. The height of the portals is around 730 m above sea level.

In the European ADAC road tunnel test from 2004, the tunnel performed poorly. The ADAC gave the tunnel a "poor" rating. This was mainly due to the damaged road surface and the inadequate equipment with escape routes. After the expansion, however, it was ranked second among the safest tunnels in Europe in 2009.
