Tung Wah
Officially Tung Wah Group of Hospitals , colloquially Tung Wah , is a Hong Kong- based charitable institution serving the public.
It was built in 1870 by order of the government and has always been run by the Chinese. This institution includes a group of five well-known hospitals (for example Tung Wah Hospital and Kwong Wah Hospital ) and a large number of treatment centers across the city. The task includes preventive medical care, outpatient as well as inpatient treatment and the free provision of medicines and aids to those in need. Donations are accepted for medical support so that more people can benefit from the services.
The Tung Wah Group operates 5 clinics with a total of 2,666 beds. It also maintains 51 facilities such as schools and kindergartens.
