The Turnback Dome is an Antarctic ice dome south of the Prince Charles Mountains , which rises in the shape of a dome about 50 m above the surroundings. The diameter of the ice dome is about 12 km.

An Australian expedition reached its southernmost point here in the southern summer of 1990/91, from where it turned back. This is why this glaciated height got its name, which means reverse ice dome in German.
