Twin saw

The Twinsaw (also Twinsaw ) is a design of the circular saw in which two carbide-tipped saw blades rotate in opposite directions with a small gap. This has the effect that the cutting forces of the two saw blades are balanced and do not have to be intercepted by the operator. In order to reduce the friction between the saw blades, the space between the two blades is moistened with machine oil. The purpose and the materials that can be cut are similar to those used in rescue chainsaws . The saw cuts various materials, such as metals, glass, wood, plastics and paper. The Twinsaw is available with both an electric drive and a combustion engine. The twin saw is primarily an item of equipment used by fire brigades or technical relief organizations .
