Tylarium

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Tylarium offers the possibility of using both a classic Finnish sauna and a steam bath in one and the same room. The temperature and humidity can be individually adjusted in a tylarium using a sauna heater and a steam generator. Depending on your preference, either low humidity with a high temperature, as in a Finnish sauna, or high humidity with a lower temperature, such as in a steam bath. A maximum humidity of 65% can typically be achieved. Often other components that resemble a colored light sauna are added. Due to the great variability in temperature and humidity, there is a great similarity to the bio steam bath. Wood siding is used in a tylarium. Since the Tylarium can also be used as a steam bath, special care is required for the wood.
