Háje Metro Station

The metro station Haje is the southern terminus of the Prague metro line C . It is named after the cadastral municipality of Háje , which is located in the Prague 11 district , and serves the Jižní Město settlement , the largest housing estate in the Czech Republic.

The station was opened on November 7, 1980 with the commissioning of the second section of Line C from Kačerov to Háje and is designed as a permanent terminus. It was called Kosmonautů until 1990 , after the Cosmonaut Square above it (náměstí Kosmonautů) .

The platform is at a depth of eleven meters. It is barrier-free accessible via an elevator. There are connections to public bus lines.
