- The second USS Scorpion was a schooner in service during the British-American War .
- The third USS Scorpion was as Bark geriggter sailing steamer , which during the American Mexican War in service stood.
- The fourth USS Scorpion was a patrol boat that was in service with the Navy several times between 1898 and 1927.
- The fifth USS Scorpion was a Gato- class submarine . Launched in 1942, the boat was lost in early 1944.
- The sixth USS Scorpion was a Skipjack- class nuclear submarine that entered service in 1960. It sank in 1968.
