USS Skipjack

Three United States Navy submarines were named USS Skipjack after the real bonito , which is called Skipjack in English :

• USS Skipjack (SS-24) , was in E-1 renamed
• USS Skipjack (SS-184) , a Salmon-class boat that served before and during the early years of World War II
• USS Skipjack (SSN-585) , the lead ship of the Skipjack-class of nuclear submarines
