US Marines - Combat Operations of the Elite Unit was a war booklet series published by Kelter Verlag .

The booklets appeared monthly in the format of a booklet volume. The series was written under the pen name GF Frederick. Behind it is the western author Gerhard Friedrich Basner , who wrote mainly under the pseudonym GF Basner for Kelter.
The novels tell in a pseudo-documentary manner about the operations of an American special unit all over the world. On the inside cover of the first fourteen booklets there are color photos of soldiers in combat missions. With Volume Fifteen, the photos disappeared and were replaced by the Marines rank insignia and the Marine Chorps Confession . There was also an info page for weapons.
A total of 24 issues were published from 1998 to 2000.
