Ugyen Tshering
Lyonpo Ugyen Tshering (born August 8, 1954 ) is a politician from Bhutan .
biography
Tshering increased within the reign of Druk Gyalpo (Dragon King) Jigme Singye Wangchuck to the Minister of Labor and Human Capital (Human Resources) of the Royal Government and was awarded for his services in 1998 with the honorary title Dasho and 2003 entitled Lyonpo. In mid-2007, he and six other members of the government resigned as ministers in order to enter politics after the democratization under King Jigme Singye Wangchuck's successor, Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck .
After the elections, on April 9, 2008, Prime Minister Jigme Thinley appointed him Foreign Minister in his cabinet. In 2013 he was succeeded by Rinzin Dorje in the office of Foreign Minister.
