Ulla Bosse

Ulla Bosse (* 1952 ) is a German psychologist . From 1998 to 2002 she was the President of the University of Hildesheim .

Life

After passing the state examination in 1977 for a higher teaching post, she began studying psychology, which she graduated with a diploma in 1984. She made additional training in group dynamics and organizational consulting and was a research assistant at the Institute for Women and Society in Hanover from 1984 to 1990. She then worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Social Education at the University of Hildesheim until 1992 . She received her doctorate in 1992 as Dr. phil. and has been an academic adviser at the same institute since 1993. From 1994 to 1998 she was Vice Rector of the University of Hildesheim and then until 2002 the first female President of the University of Hildesheim. Subsequently, in addition to her work in Hildesheim, she was coordinator of the universities in the Kurt Schwitters Forum in Hanover until 2003. Since 2003 she has been a member of the board of the pro familia state association of Lower Saxony and a member of the foundation advisory board of the St. Ursula School in Hanover . Her research focuses on women and gender studies, personnel development and organizational consulting.
