Ulrich Schwarz (Chief of Police)

Ulrich Schwarz (born April 2, 1954 ) is a German police officer and police chief of Tuttlingen.

Professional background

Ulrich Schwarz started the police service of the Baden-Württemberg State Police in 1974 in the middle service. In 1978 he was promoted to the higher service, in 1989 to the higher service. He spent the years from 1989 to 1994 in the Baden-Württemberg State Criminal Police Office. There he became head of Inspection 710. In 1994 he switched to teaching at the Police College in Villingen-Schwenningen and stayed there until 2000. Then he took over the management of the operational and command staff of the Freiburg Police Department. In 2002 he became head of the Constance Police Department.

Ulrich Schwarz had been police chief in Tuttlingen since 2014. He was retired in 2016.
