Leave Me Alone Box
The Leave Me Alone Box (German Lass-mich-in-Ruhe-Box ), also Useless Box (German: Sinnlose Box ) or The Ultimate Machine (German: The ultimate machine ), is a machine whose only purpose is to switch off yourself. This is often done by a lever that is operated by an arm coming out of the box. The senseless machines are generally used as a toy or curiosity.
Variations
There are various special forms of the box. In one of the best known, the lever is alternately tilted back and forth by two arms. In another there are several levers that are pushed back by an arm that moves to the corresponding lever.
