ʿUmar ibn Shabba

ʿUmar ibn Shabba ( Arabic عمر بن شبة, DMG ʿUmar b. Šabba ; † around 877) is the author of a local history of Medina , the work Taʾrīch al-Madīna (Taʾrīḫ al-Madīna / The story of Medina ).
