United States Harness Horse of the Year
The Harness Horse of the Year is an award for the best trotting horse in the United States . It is presented by the United States Trotting Association and the United States Harness Writers Association as part of the Dan Patch Awards .
The award was first given in 1947 to Victory Song by the Castleton Farms Stables.
Good Time was the first horse to receive the award twice, in 1949 and 1952.
