The Universidad Autónoma de Asunción (UAA) is a university in Asunción , Paraguay .

The university was founded in 1978 as the "Escuela Superior de Administración de Empresas (ESAE)" and was given its current name in 1991. More than 5000 students are looked after by approx. 350 professors and lecturers in 5 faculties and 21 fields.
