The Universidad Finis Terrae is a private , state-recognized university based in Santiago de Chile , Chile .
The university was founded in 1988, in 1999 it joined the Red de Universidades Anáhuac , which is supported by the religious order of the Legionaries of Christ .
There are currently 18 programs in the arts, social sciences, humanities, health sciences, and education, as well as numerous postgraduate continuing education programs.
