The Universidad UCINF (formerly Universidad de Ciencias de la Informática ; German  University UCINF; University of Computer Science ) based in Santiago de Chile was founded on July 14, 1989 and is one of the autonomous universities in Chile and a university with the right to award doctorates Serves to develop the sciences through research, teaching and study.

The college has three locations in Providence and Puente Alto, and an institute of technology in Melipilla. Central campus "Pedro de Valdivia" with classrooms, laboratories, library and casino as well as the "Melipilla Campus" and the "Puente Alto Campus".

A comprehensive range of subjects in the fields of technology, economics, psychology and education offers universality and provides its students with science-related professional qualifications.

The faculties are divided into the individual institutes or seminars at which the respective subjects are taught. These facilities are headed by one of the professors who teach there and have the title of Institute Director.

After successful completion of the exam, the student is awarded a faculty-specific academic degree (diploma, master's degree, etc.) that qualifies for a job.
