The Fuzhou University (福州大学; pinyin : Fuzhou Daxue ) is a public university in the Chinese city of Fuzhou , the provincial capital of Fujian .
history
Fuzhou University was founded in 1958 and today (2006) has about 25,000 students. The university library holds 1 million volumes and 5,000 periodicals.
Fuzhou University was one of the first Chinese universities to have internet access in 1995, and the first university in Fujian Province to major in German in 2005.
