The University of Chicago Booth School of Business is a graduate business school in Chicago , Illinois . Chicago Booth is the second oldest business school in the US; the first to offer an Executive MBA program and the first to offer a Ph.D. Program in business. Formerly the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business , the school was renamed in 2008 after a $ 300 million donation from David G. Booth .
Booth's university buildings are located in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago on the main University of Chicago campus . The school has other campuses in London and Asia (initially in Singapore, a move to Hong Kong was announced in July 2013) as well as in downtown Chicago on the Magnificent Mile . In addition to offering the business program, the school conducts research in finance, economics, quantitative market research, accounting / bookkeeping and other areas.
The full-time MBA program is currently rated as the best MBA program in the world (along with that of the Harvard Business School).
