Therese Marie Kleemann ( September 9, 1820 in Vienna - December 26, 1852 in Altona ), née Therese Marie Wagner , was an Austrian theater actress .

Life

Kleemann, the daughter of a Viennese civil servant and sister of the court actor Josef Wagner , devoted himself to the stage at an early age like her brother and made his debut at the Theater an der Wien .

The theater director Carl Carl soon recognized her significant talent and made her aware that the Theater an der Wien was not the right ground for her: “Her talent referred her to highly tragic tasks, she had to turn to a stage where her talent was more abundant Opportunity for development would be offered. ”She left Vienna and went to Pressburg , where she married the actor Wilhelm Kleemann . She appeared everywhere with extraordinary success and made herself a respected and popular name with both Austrian and German audiences. The artist died on December 26, 1852 during a guest performance in Altona.
