The University of Colorado Denver ( UCD or UC Denver for short ) is part of the University of Colorado System and was created in July 2004 from the merger of the medical college Health Sciences Center with its academic teaching hospital ( University of Colorado Hospital ) and the others in Colorado's capital Denver the institutions of the CU:

  • College of Architecture and Planning
  • College of Arts & Media
  • Business school
  • School of Education
  • College of Engineering and Applied Science
  • College of Liberal Arts and Sciences
  • Graduate School of Public Affairs

The Health Sciences Center was previously counted as the CU's fourth campus.
