The University of Duhok ( Kurdish زانکۆی دھۆک Zankoy Duhok , German 'Universität Duhok' ) is a state university in the Kurdish city ​​of Duhok in the Autonomous Region of Kurdistan in Iraq . It was founded on October 31, 1992. The majority of the courses in the nine faculties are offered with Bachelor and Master degrees . The university has nine faculties - medicine, agriculture / forestry, engineering, applied sciences, humanities, natural sciences, law, educational sciences, and economics.

The university has concluded international cooperation agreements with several universities - for example at the university level with the University of Oldenburg and with the Technical University of Central Hesse or at the department level with the Technical University of Dortmund .
