Unlimited Hydroplanes is a racing boat class that is driven almost exclusively in the USA. Such boats have never been launched in Europe.

Oversized three-point vehicles are used , which used to be powered by huge V-12 engines, nowadays mostly gas turbines (shaft turbines). The propulsion is still mainly carried out by the propellers in the water.

The boats are traditionally all called “Miss”, followed by the name of the sponsor. The best known are "Miss Budweiser", which has been rebuilt several times over the decades, and "Miss Madison" from the film of the same name.

The American Dave Villwock with "Miss Budweiser" has held the absolute speed record for propeller-driven boats since 2004. He managed 354.86 km / h. Only boats without propellers that are powered by a jet engine are faster (since 1978 with 511.11 km / h).
