Upp

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Upp was a British rock band in the mid-1970s whose recordings were produced by Jeff Beck and are sometimes incorrectly referred to as the Jeff Beck Band .

Upp was founded in 1973 and consisted of Stephen Amazing (bass), Andy Clark (keyboards) and Jim Copley (drums). In 1974 Beck invited the trio to make music with him in his BBC show Guitar Workshop . Beck produced the group's two albums, Upp (1975) and This Way Upp (1976), and played some of the tracks himself. On the second album, David Bunce played the guitar. Upp disbanded in 1977.
