First part

The home is adorned by the northern shore of the lake as well as the rocks and hills. A ger near the rock is as brown as bark; Uran Chas lives in this ger with his mother. He wants to fly like a bird and for that reason builds wings; meanwhile, all the friends of his beloved wife Chandarmaa come to him and disturb him. Chandarmaa is coming soon too. Chas shows the three women the wings, he tells how a bird wants to jump from the high rock. But they don't trust him and make fun of it while Chas is already at the top of the rock to jump. The three women are scared. At the same time, all the boys gather and are interested (ask what's going on). But Chas jumped from the high rock without injuring himself; Chandermaa is worried about him and the other friends are warmly happy and having fun. Because of the noise, Chas' mother comes; she looks excited and is proud of her son. Chas shows his friends the twelve years while he dances with the help of the clock as a treasure, as the friends wish; first he shows the first six (signs of the zodiac) of the year through masks and the young friends make fun of his talent and luck. In the evening it gets dark, the boys from home are gone, then the beloved couple have fun and show each other their love.

Second part

The emperor has heard of Chas and is coming with his companions; he orders Chas to use his talent so that he can strive for his goal, and therefore takes him to Churee. His mother, friends, and lover say goodbye to him.
